Meanings are not determined by situations, but we determine ourselves by the meanings we give to situations.

About Me

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas for over 25 years. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from SHSU and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UT Austin. I specialize in women’s issues, anxiety, and life transition issues. I have a variety of experience working with issues including adoption, depression and mood disorders, interpersonal relationships, medical illness/cancer, anger, parenting, behavior, ADHD, stress, and more.

The therapeutic relationship is a key factor, and I incorporate many therapeutic approaches, tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each client. You will find that I am compassionate and relatable. I provide Christian Counseling for those who wish to integrate their faith into therapy.

I love working with young adults all the way up to senior citizens!

I recently got approved by the state of Florida to provide counseling via telehealth to people in Florida as well!
